Hey! I have made it here safely to Nairobi!! We head out to Kisumu today. My flight was good, I slept through most of it. As soon as we got to the hotel, we dropped out bags off and went out to this restaurant that had live music and dancing. We met some really great people and it was a lot of fun. Well gotta run, but I will write more later.

Sooo.. I am going to Kenya and working at a community center in Kisumu for 7.5 weeks. I have never really been to another country so this will definetly be the experience of a lifetime. Stay tuned...

I'm so proud of you Stace! Following through and expanding your commitment to Social Justice and so much more. Hey- can I send non-perishable food and water to you for the people in the community? I've always wanted to send care packages but never had a contact to ensure its receipt. Let me know. I also have a lot of clothes to donate- hesitant about donating to profit organizations who resell.
